I was born in 1986 in Titograd and I am a Montenegrin literary scholar specializing in comparative literature and South Slavic cultural studies. I completed my BA at the Faculty of Philosophy in Nikšić and pursued exchange studies at the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences in Zagreb through a Croatian Ministry program. I earned my MA at the University of Sarajevo, and in 2021 I received my PhD in Comparative Literature from the University of Zagreb.
I am the author of two scholarly books, including The Political Novel in the South Slavic Intercultural Context, published by Bloomsbury Publishing, as well as numerous academic articles. I have organized and participated in major international symposia across Europe.
I serve as a Senior Scientist and Visiting Professor at the Institute for Slavistics at Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt, and I am a teaching associate at the Faculty for Montenegrin Language and Literature in Cetinje, where I previously held the position of Vice Dean for Science and International Exchange.
My research has been recognized with the Danubius Young Scientist Award (awarded by the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Research and the Institute for the Danube Region and Central Europe), as well as an award from the European Institute of the Mediterranean in Barcelona. In 2021, I was a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Indiana University Bloomington, Department of Slavic and East European Languages and Cultures.
